Before your next run

A one-minute Ringzzle warm-up

Three quick reads for your next run. Look at each board, consider the next ring, then check the answer. These are fixed examples, not a timed challenge, and they do not affect your score or records.

Large coral

One color, three sizes

Where can the large coral ring finish a line? Which ring would stay?

Check answer: One color, three sizes

Place it in C1. The three coral rings in row 1 clear together, even though their sizes differ. The small blue ring in B1 stays.

Next-run focus: Scan for a shared color before comparing ring sizes.

A burst starts in one cell

What happens if the large yellow ring goes in B2? Does the blue ring disappear too?

Check answer: A burst starts in one cell

B2 completes all three yellow sizes and triggers Color Burst. All five yellow rings, including the new ring, clear from the board. The blue ring in B1 stays. This example does not complete a line.

Next-run focus: Look beyond the source cell: a burst removes its color everywhere.

Check the slot, not just the space

Can the medium yellow ring go in A1? What about the empty B1 cell?

Check answer: Check the slot, not just the space

A1 already holds a medium ring, so that drop would return to the tray. B1 accepts the medium yellow ring. Other empty cells also work; B1 is one valid choice, not a uniquely best move.

Next-run focus: Before a drop, check that the incoming ring's size slot is free.

Take one idea into your next run.

Look for mixed-size color lines, check your open slots, or watch for a same-color cell. Pick one focus; you do not need to chase all three at once.
