Nintendo's Ongoing DMCA Battle Against Switch Emulators

Nintendo has once again intensified its efforts against Switch emulators, issuing a new round of DMCA takedowns targeting at least 13 different projects. This move follows a massive takedown in May 2024, where over 8,500 repositories of the popular Yuzu emulator were removed from GitHub. The latest DMCA notice not only seeks to eliminate Yuzu but also aims to suppress other emulators like Citron, Eden, and Ryujinx, which are designed to play Nintendo Switch games.
